Nigerian Embassy Fees & Charges 2026

Fee Update Notice

Passport fees were revised effective September 2025. Diaspora rates remain at $150 (32-page) and $230 (64-page). Domestic rates increased to ₦100,000 and ₦200,000 respectively. All payments are made via the NIS online portal.

  • Bank draft or money order payable to the embassy
  • Cash payments accepted at some locations

  • Fees are non-refundable once payment has been processed
  • Fees may vary by location — some embassies charge a local processing fee
  • Currency conversion rates apply at the prevailing rate on the date of payment
